So many entrepreneurs think their offer is broken when in reality... their focus is.
They jump from idea to idea, tweak the price every other week, add more deliverables to "make it more valuable," and wonder why nothing's sticking.
Here’s the truth: It’s rarely the offer. It’s the lack of strategy and clarity around it.
If you’re not getting traction, it’s tempting to assume your offer is the issue. But most often, it’s one of these:
❌ Your positioning is muddy (check out HubSpot's Guide to Brand Positioning for help with this)
❌ Your message is vague
❌ Your audience doesn’t understand the value
❌ You’re trying to serve too many people
These aren’t offer problems. They’re focus problems.
We see it all the time:
"Maybe I should add more bonuses. Maybe I should include another call. Maybe I should lower the price."
No. You should make your offer simpler.
✅ Who is it for?
✅ What painful problem does it solve?
✅ What’s the transformation?
✅ Why should they trust you to deliver?
When you have sharp, focused answers to those 4 questions, sales get a whole lot easier. (See Donald Miller's StoryBrand Framework)
Take a look at some of the most successful digital products, services, or agencies you follow.
They didn’t grow by constantly reinventing themselves.
They picked a lane, stayed in it, and refined it. The messaging got tighter. The sales process got easier. The conversions improved. Then they scaled.
You might need a new offer if:
But more often than not, you need:
Dial that in first before you scrap what you’ve already built.
The fastest way to slow yourself down is to chase every new idea.
If your offer isn’t working, pause. Zoom in. Clarify the who, what, and why.
You don’t need a new offer. You need better focus.
Your bank account will thank you.
